A partir del prisma que ofrecen tres narraciones latinoamericanas del siglo XXI (“El mundo de arriba y el mundo de abajo” de Mónica Ojeda, y “Chaco” y “Nuestro mundo muerto” de Liliana Colanzi), el artículo reconstruye una historia signada por la imbricación trágica de la palabra y la vida. El orden totalizador y el sentido común que instaura la lógica predadora del capital en Occidente se expresan en el corpus en una serie de motivos o unidades semánticas que las ficciones leen a contrapelo. Entre los vestigios de ese relato inmemorial de conquistas y apropiaciones en el que resuena la voz reconocible de una subjetividad antropocéntrica, los cuentos proponen desviaciones y huidas del sentido que van tramando una historia alternativa. En la literatura se vislumbra así un nuevo régimen de la palabra que no sólo exhibe la complicidad entre el nombre y el crimen, sino que abre paso además a una voz que proviene de otra parte, más allá del borde presuntamente humano, para ofrecernos posibilidades de fuga.
From the prism offered by three Latin American narratives of the 21st century (“El mundo de arriba y el mundo de abajo” of Mónica Ojeda, and “Chaco” and “Nuestro mundo muerto” of Liliana Colanzi), the article reconstructs a story marked by the tragic imbrication of words and life. The totalizing order and common sense established by the predatory logic of capital in the West are expressed in the corpus in a series of motifs or semantic units that the fictions read against the grain. Among the vestiges of that immemorial story of conquests and appropriations in which the recognizable voice of an anthropocentric subjectivity resounds, the stories propose deviations and escapes from meaning that plot an alternative history. In literature, a new regime of the word is glimpsed that not only exhibits the complicity between the name and the crime, but also opens the way for a voice that comes from elsewhere, beyond the supposedly human edge, to offer us possibilities of escape.
