Overall, I would describe my experience as a rollercoaster of emotions. Initially during the induction process, I felt a mix of anxiety and motivation. It became a reality that I was going to be part of the team, and I envisioned myself becoming as proficient as those I saw so focused during our tour of the different offices. After being assigned to the Exxon client team, "sponsored" by an experienced CSR, who would be my mentor for the next 3 months, reviewing and supervising my order processing, we were welcomed to the team and were immediately informed that there were high expectations of us since this was one of the company's main clients. This added some pressure but also motivation, as it was a challenge, and in my mind, there was no other option but to excel. As time went by, I received training in different processes, and with each training, I became more proficient. My effort paid off when, during the monthly meeting, a report on processed orders showed that I had processed around 330 orders in my first month. Seeing these numbers made me think that I was doing things right. The next challenge was the 3-month exam, which validated my transition from CSR Starter to officially being a CSR Data processor and being fully independent. After passing the exam, we were called to a room where we received feedback on our performance and were given positive aspects but also areas for improvement in order to continue progressing within the company.
