| spa |
dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this article is to trace possible territories of black feminine writing in the Americas, establishing relations with the legacy of diaspora. I base my study in a selection of poems from Poemas da recordação e outros movimentos (2008), by the Brazilian Conceição Evaristo; Memoria y resistência (2004) by Cristina Cabral, from Uruguay; Balafres (1994), by Marie-Célie Agnant, from Haiti; and from Once (1968) and Revolutionary Petunias (1973), by the North American Alice Walker. I concentrate on similar aspects of their poetry as a way of establishing transnational parameters in black writing in the Americas. | eng |
