El presente artículo es resultado del análisis al ejercicio de verdad del sobreviviente en Colombia, en particular, de los hechos ocurridos en las masacres de: El Salado y Macayepo en el departamento de Bolívar y Chengue ubicado en el departamento de Sucre, en donde se tuvo como estrategia de guerra, la barbarie hasta el punto de negar la condición humana al “otro”. Para realizar el análisis se tiene como marco, los conceptos de los autores Hannah Arendt y Giorgio Agamben, quienes definen teóricamente qué es el mal y la deshumanización de la violencia, a partir de allí se revisa si el conocimiento de la verdad permite a la víctima sobreviviente recuperar la condición de sujeto activo de derechos. En este sentido, se examinaron las prácticas y concepciones de reconciliación y reconstrucción de tejido social, y si para alcanzarlas es necesario el “conocimiento” y la “comprensión” de los hechos de crueldad ocurridos.  De igual manera, se realizó el ejercicio del testigo sobreviviente en los municipios en estudio, indagando con ellos si al narrar los hechos se sentían dignificados y reivindicados como sujetos de derechos, y en consecuencia aportándole a la sanación, la reparación y la sostenibilidad de los procesos de pacificación.
This article is a product of the research developed around the analysis of the real exercise of the survivor in Colombia, in the events that occurred in the massacres of: El Salado and Macayepo in the department of Bolívar and Chengue located in the department of Sucre, where barbarism was growing until the human condition was denied to the "other" as a war strategy. For this, the concepts of the authors Hannah Arendt and Giorgio Agamben were taken, who theoretically define what is evil and the dehumanization of violence, from there it is checked if the knowledge of the truth allows you to recover your status as an active subject of rights. In this sense, the practices and conceptions of reconciliation and reconstruction of the social fabric were examined, and if the “knowledge” and “understanding” of the acts of cruelty occurred, as well as the exercise of the surviving witness in the area under study, investigating whether to narrate the facts dignifies and claims as a subject of rights, contributing to the healing, reparation and sustainability of the pacification processes.
