Between laces and compromises: An immersion into the planning of marriage events.

Abstract

Wedding planning is not only a meticulous task, but also an exercise in creativity, organization and interpersonal skills. The Wedding Planner, as a central figure in this process, must be able to manage multiple tasks, meet the needs of the bride and groom and coordinate with diverse suppliers, with the goal of turning the dreams of the bride and groom into a memorable reality. The main objective of this paper is to address a common problem that arises in the challenging world of weddings, specifically in the context of an internship at a Wedding Planner company. During the internship experience, a set of challenges and obstacles were identified that directly impact the efficiency and quality of the services provided. From managing the agenda and coordinating vendors to supporting the bride and groom on their special day, there are opportunities for improvement that can optimize the planning and execution of weddings. In the course of this paper, the challenges identified will be analyzed in detail and innovative and effective solutions will be proposed. The goal is to contribute to the improvement of work processes in the Wedding Planner field, providing professionals with the necessary tools to successfully face the challenges that arise in the planning and execution of weddings. Ultimately, this work is presented as a personal testimony to the richness and complexity of the wedding industry, and as a valuable contribution to those seeking excellence in wedding event planning.
