| spa |
dc.description.abstract | Introduction:IgA pemphigus is an autoimmune blistering disease characterized by the presence of pustules and blisters associated with pain and pruritus. Although there are 2 main types: intraepidermal neutrophilic IgA dermatosis and subcorneal pustular dermatosis, the wide spectrum of clinical presentation and overlapping findings with other blistering diseases make the diagnostic approach and treatment difficult. Case Report:this case report describes a 50-year-old woman with an atypical presentation of bullous disease which was finally classified according to clinical findings and direct immunofluorescence results as IgA pemphigus with overlapping features. Conclusions: IgA pemphigus is currently considered a spectrum of blistering diseases in which overlapping features may exist with therapeutic and prognostic implications. | eng |
