Gómez Castaño, Leguis2022-06-152022-06-152022-06-151657-3633Durante el periodo del olimpo radical, la Universidad de Cartagena, llamada entonces El Colegio del Estado, sufrió varios cambios con el propósito de proveer educación a los nuevos ciudadanos que el gobierno liberal quería crear.  Como tal, nuevas escuelas fueron creadas, pero muchas se quedaron solo como buenas ideas y proyectos. La intención de modernización fue, sin embargo, muy avanzada para su tiempo. En cambio, la Universidad se convirtió durante el mismo periodo, en un espacio de movilidad social de estratos populares y étnicos relegados durante otras épocas. During the period called olimpo radical, the university of Cartagena, named back then The State College, suffered several changes with the purpose of provide education to the new citizens that the liberal govertment wanted to créate. As such, several new schools were created as well, but many of then stays just as good ideas and projects.  The intention of modernization was however, truly advanced to its time.
