Pita Pico, Roger2022-06-152022-06-152022-06-151657-3633En el marco de la conmemoración del bicentenario de la Independencia de Colombia y, teniendo como referencia la corriente de la historia social y el estudio de los grupos subalternos, este trabajo tiene por objeto analizar la participación de las comunidades indígenas en estas luchas por la emancipación tanto en el campo militar como a través de donativos, contribuciones y apoyo en fuerza laboral para el ejército republicano y el ejército español, así como también las recompensas que recibieron por estos servicios. Fue indudable el impacto de estas guerras no solo en el drástico descenso demográfico sino además en la crisis económica y la afectación de la unidad familiar y social de estas comunidades al tiempo que cada vez más perdían su ancestral cultura por efecto del blanqueamiento y el mestizaje. Within the framework of the commemoration of the bicentennial of the Independence of Colombia and, taking as a theoretical reference the social history and the study of subordinate groups, this work aims to analyze the participation of indigenous communities in these struggles for emancipation. It is intended to analyze how their presence was in the military through donations, contributions and support in labor force for the armies in contention, as well as the rewards they received for these services.
